Child Passenger Safety Week is September 19-25 and is the perfect time to make sure that 1) your child is in the right seat and 2) it is installed correctly.

IS YOUR CHILD IN THE RIGHT SEAT?

  • Rear-Facing: Often used from 5-40 lbs.
  • Forward-Facing: Has outgrown height or weight limits on the rear-facing car seat
  • Booster Seat: Has outgrown the forward-facing seat with a harness
  • Seat Belt: Big enough to fit in a seat belt properly

National Seat Check Saturday is September 25 and certified technicians across the country can help you use and install your child’s seat as safely as possible. Visit NHTSA.gov/TheRightSeat for tips and to find a location near you!
