DeKalb County Mother Hit By Car Walking Daughter to School

A local DeKalb County woman was hit by a car while walking her daughter to school on the morning of Thursday, January 14, 2016. The mother was hit near Indian Creek Elementary School, which is located in Clarkston, Georgia. According to police, the woman was in a crosswalk when she was hit. She was taken to DeKalb Medical Center for treatment of a head laceration. The driver who caused the pedestrian accident was charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
