Woman Hit by MARTA Bus in Pedestrian Accident

A MARTA bus hit and injured a woman in downtown Atlanta on the morning of Friday, January 15, 2016. The woman was in a crosswalk at the intersection of Forsyth and Alabama Streets when the bus hit her. Police cited the bus driver for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk. The woman was taken to Grady Hospital for evaluation of a shoulder injury. Bus accidents and pedestrian accidents can cause serious injury.
