“My name is Whiskey, and I’m a gentle giant. I might look big and strong, but when I was abandoned by my owner and left to fend for myself, I admit I was scared! A Good Samaritan found me and got me to safety, then partnered with the HSCC to take me in. When I first arrived at their no-kill shelter, I was so confused and frightened, but I quickly realized I was in good hands.

Despite my statuesque build, I can be surprisingly quiet and stealthy, moving like a ninja as I scope out my surroundings. I can be a bit shy with new people and new places, but once I feel secure, I’ll make my presence known. I bask in friendly attention and enjoy being petted. You’ll know I’m firmly in my comfort zone when I plop down on my side, curl my paws, go belly up, and start rolling around!

I get along well with other good-natured cats, and I’d do best in a household with a low to moderate activity level.

If you think I would be a good fit for your home, please call 770-428-LOST (5678) to set up an appointment to come meet me! I have been neutered and microchipped and am up to date on all my vaccinations.”
