MONDAY, AUGUST 17, 2020 — The Champion Firm is excited to welcome Attorney Elise Wilson to the team. Born and raised in Wilmington, North Carolina, Elise Wilson graduated from Emory University School of Law with Honors and received the Debra Cohen de Rothschild scholarship for female trial advocates. Passionate about law since her teens, Elise has been active in Mock Trial for many years and coaches the Mock Trial Program at Georgia Tech. In addition to that, she volunteers for the American Mock Trial Association as a civil case writer and representative.
During undergrad at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and law school Elise worked as a legal assistant at a small traffic, DUI, and criminal firm in Chapel Hill, NC and worked at a public defender’s office in Augusta, GA.
Elise is dedicated to helping people seek justice when they have been wronged and representing individuals, as opposed to corporations. Elise specifically pursued Personal Injury because “it’s rewarding to help people find closure after an injury, and I love seeing the positive impact that successful litigation can have on people’s lives.”
When she isn’t practicing law or coaching her Mock Trial students, Elise likes to bake and play board games. She is also a huge fan of musical theater and sings opera. She looks forward to serving Personal Injury clients and her local community.
