$500,000 Recovered in High-Impact Car Accident
On April 22, 2023, our client was driving on Roswell Road in Fulton County and came to a stop while waiting to make a left-hand turn into a private driveway. Our client’s 10-year-old daughter was sitting in the left rear corner of the vehicle’s backseat.
As our client stopped, another driver, who was traveling directly behind our client, glanced down at his cell phone and failed to see our client stop. As a result of the other driver’s recklessness, he violently hit our client’s vehicle from behind, causing an impact so severe that the responding EMS providers noted there were at least two feet of intrusion into the rear of the vehicle, where our client’s daughter had been seated.
Our client’s minor daughter sustained a serious head injury that required surgical intervention and hospitalization.
Attorney Darl Champion represented our client in this case and, after proving the negligence of the other driver, successfully recovered $500,000 in damages for our client and his family from all available insurance policies.
