Cara was born in Muskegon, Michigan, but grew up in the small town of Morristown, Tennessee, just outside Knoxville. After spending the past three years working in preschool special needs education, she decided to make a career change and lend her skills to The Champion Firm’s administrative team.
One part of working for a personal injury law firm that most appeals to Cara is the industry’s natural alignment with her drive to be a “helper.” She loves being part of a team that ensures individuals receive fair treatment during difficult life events.
Outside of work, Cara and her husband Drew (her high school sweetheart of 17 years) are busy raising their two kids, Lola (13) and Sawyer (12), in Marietta’s West Cobb area. Much of their free time revolves around sports, since both kids are active athletes.
Cara also volunteers extensively with the Cobb County School District for school and sports activities. When she’s not cheering from the sidelines, Cara enjoys the outdoors by hiking, spending time at the lake, or catching an Atlanta Braves game. She also loves reading, hanging out with her goldendoodle Lucy, and, in her words, being her children’s Uber driver.
