Melissa was raised in Aurora, Illinois. She attended the College of DuPage, where she obtained her associate degree in Arts and her bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Benedictine University. Although she loves her home state, Melissa wanted to experience more of the country and decided to move to Georgia in 2023. Her interest in law arose from her interest in history, legislation, and its impact on American society.
In her free time, Melissa enjoys reading, biking on the Peloton, and going on walks in nature. She loves that there is always something fun to do in Atlanta, and especially enjoys the city’s walking trails.
