Michael Arndt serves as the Litigation Managing Attorney at The Champion Firm, Personal Injury Attorneys, P.C. in Marietta, GA, specializing in plaintiff’s injury cases including car accident, premises liability and medical malpractice claims.

Michael Arndt

Michael Arndt grew up in Snellville, Georgia, in a busy house of seven. His father owns a small asbestos removal business, and his mother was a superstar elementary school teacher. His parents now enjoy a well-earned semi-retirement, doting on 12 grandchildren, gardening, and dominating daily pickleball games.

Michael’s siblings continue to hang his moon; his life began and will end with them. From those loving beginnings, Michael learned the power of a supportive family and what good he could do with grit and kindness.

Michael followed his siblings to the University of Georgia, where he majored in History and earned the department's award for Best Undergraduate Thesis. After graduation, he dedicated two years to public service.

He first served with AmeriCorps St. Louis, where he received the organization's "Best in Service" Award for tutoring students at Peabody Elementary School. He then spent a year in Chamberlain, South Dakota, serving as a houseparent for Lakota Sioux children.

Initially planning to become a teacher, Michael accepted a full scholarship to pursue graduate studies at Georgia State University. While completing his graduate degree, he realized his passion for advocacy and helping others could have an even greater impact through the practice of law.

In law school, he served as one of four teaching assistants for the required writing course, interned for a federal judge and two federal agencies, worked in two clinics, and graduated with academic honors and highest pro bono honors.

Michael began his legal career as a law clerk for Chief Judge Ben W. Studdard III, gaining invaluable insight into trial work and civil litigation. He later joined a large national law firm, where he represented Fortune 500 companies in complex litigation and appellate matters.

Although he gained extensive experience working alongside accomplished trial attorneys, Michael knew his calling was to advocate for individuals rather than corporations. He has published in DRI, Law360, and other legal publications and frequently presents at continuing education seminars.

Today, Michael represents people who have suffered catastrophic injuries and families who have lost loved ones due to the negligence of others. His diverse legal background, combined with his lifelong commitment to service, allows him to approach every case with compassion, strategic thinking, and a determination to help clients navigate some of life's most difficult moments.

Outside the office, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, Taylor, their two children, Railey and John, and their favorite four-legged companion, Moose. Family remains at the center of everything he does, and the values he learned growing up continue to shape both his life and his approach to serving clients.
