Uly Hamilton was born in Russia and immigrated to the United States at a young age. She eventually put down roots in the Marietta/East Cobb area, which she considers home.
Growing up as an immigrant — and watching her own family navigate the American legal system — gave her a firsthand understanding of what it feels like to face complex, unfamiliar systems without guidance. That experience planted the seed for a career where she could be the person she wished her family had in their corner.
Early signs of that direction showed up in high school, where she competed in Model United Nations, sharpening her instincts for research, persuasion, and seeing issues from multiple perspectives. She went on to earn a degree in International Affairs from the University of Georgia, where her multicultural background and interest in global systems naturally aligned.
Before attending law school, Uly spent three years gaining real-world experience in healthcare and professional services, including working as a Patient Care Coordinator and Executive Assistant at an MRI facility. There, she developed a strong foundation in medical records, patient care, and insurance processes, experience that now gives her a unique advantage in personal injury law.
At Georgia State University College of Law, Uly immersed herself in both academic and advocacy opportunities. She helped coordinate fundraising efforts for the PILA Auction Events Committee and participated in the Health Law Partnership (HeLP) Legal Services Clinic, providing legal assistance to low-income families. One of her proudest accomplishments was building her own Mock Trial Team through Phi Alpha Delta, where she trained and competed alongside peers, earning a 6th place finish in 2015 and 2nd place in 2016, along with recognition as Runner-Up Best Prosecution.

What sets Uly apart is the combination of perspectives she brings to every case. Her background in medical records allows her to understand injuries not just as legal claims, but as real human experiences with timelines, diagnoses, and recovery processes. Her seven years experience in insurance defense also gives her valuable insight into how insurance companies evaluate claims, allowing her to anticipate challenges and advocate more effectively for her clients.
Uly’s favorite part of being an attorney is meeting people from all walks of life and telling their stories in a way that truly resonates. She was drawn to personal injury law because it allows her to combine her medical knowledge, legal experience, and desire to level the playing field for individuals facing powerful insurance companies. For Uly, the most fulfilling aspect of her work is helping clients move forward:
“When a person is injured, they're dealing with pain, doctors, missed work, family stress — and then on top of all that, they have to navigate insurance claims and legal paperwork. My job is to take that weight off their shoulders. You focus on getting better. Let me handle the rest.”
Fluent in Russian and conversational in French and Spanish, Uly makes a point of ensuring every client — regardless of background — feels genuinely supported, understood, and empowered from the moment they walk in the door. She knows what it means to feel like an outsider in a system that wasn't designed with you in mind. That experience never leaves you — and for Uly, it's a constant reminder of why the work matters.
Outside of work, Uly enjoys staying active and exploring Atlanta. She is a Run Lead with the Atlanta Track Club’s In Training program, where she mentors and supports others in reaching their fitness goals. An avid runner herself, she has completed six marathons and continues to challenge herself with new races. She also enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband and their children, and cheering on her favorite teams: the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta United, and FC Barcelona.
