Meet our November 2022 Pet-of-the-Month from the Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb! The Champion Firm features one local adoptable pet every month.

Meet GumDrop!

This adorable baby girl is Gumdrop! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl with her bestie, Caramel, on 10/21. Gumdrop has her whole life ahead of her and she’s looking forward to finding a new home and a new family to love her and keep her safe so that she never ends up back in the shelter. Puppies can be a lot of work so please make sure you have time in your schedule for plenty of training and playtime! Gumdrop is approximately 10 months old and weighs 49 lbs. She will most likely be a medium/large-sized dog when fully grown. Gumdrop is UTD on vaccines and is spayed; she will be microchipped upon adoption. She tested negative for heartworms so that is great news! Please come meet this sweetheart in run 17, her ID # is 640285.

Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don’t know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER – names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

This beautiful baby and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. – Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only until further notice, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
