Lori Sprenger PhD RN is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant at The Champion Firm. She earned her RN diploma and master’s degree at Blessing Rieman College of Nursing (Quincy IL), her BSN degree at Quincy University (Quincy IL), and her PhD (Nursing Education Specialty) at Capella University. Her dissertation was entitled: Perceptions and Lived Experiences of Nursing Students: A Mixed Methods Exploration of Writing Self-Efficacy.
Before becoming a CLNC in 2018, Lori was highly involved with academic nursing education for Blessing Rieman College of Nursing and Chamberlain College of Nursing where she was awarded several faculty performance awards and a Daisy Award. Lori has presented professional speeches at the local, national, and international levels.
Lori knew at a very young age that she wanted to be an operating room RN (her first professional passion), and that came true upon earning her RN diploma. Lori’s other RN experiences (in-house educational coordinator, home care, case management, ENT/allergy office, nursing education professor) have provided her with a well-rounded knowledge base of the healthcare system that has been very beneficial as she assists The Champion Firm team with understanding complex medical issues of personal injury/med mal cases.
Atlanta is Lori’s ‘happy place’ after moving from midwestern Illinois in 2019. She grew up on a farm and developed a very strong work ethic and compassion to help people who were ill in any way. Lori’s second professional passion is legal nurse consulting where she feels that she works with—not for—The Champion Firm team. Lori has worked on defense cases but highly values, respects, and enjoys the plaintiff side where clients are compensated for their injuries and damages due to the negligent acts of others.
In her spare time, Lori enjoys reading, shopping, movies, keeping in close contact with her adult children and family, and natural health as she is certified in 2nd Degree Reiki Method of Natural Healing.
