Meet Our Summer Intern: Carson Craig

We’re excited to introduce you to our summer legal intern, Carson Craig! Carson just wrapped up his first year at Georgia State University College of Law and is spending the summer with us, assisting our attorneys and legal staff.

Carson comes to us with a strong foundation in legal studies—he studied Political Science at Auburn University before heading to law school. On day one, he jumped right in by researching legal issues related to a couple of active cases, and we expect most of his summer will involve helping our team with research and drafting documents.

When we asked Carson what he’s most looking forward to during his time here, he told us it’s the chance to dive deeper into litigation and legal writing. “These are some of the most common yet complex focuses of a plaintiff’s firm,” he said, and he’s eager to get hands-on experience in both.

Carson was born in Vidalia, Georgia, but has spent most of his life here in Atlanta. At Georgia State, he’s active in several student organizations, including the International Law Club, the Environmental Law Club, and the Sports & Entertainment Law Club.

Outside of law, Carson’s not afraid to embrace a quieter hobby—he loves to read—and a more adventurous one: scuba diving. He’s been on over 100 dives in several countries, making it his top pastime when he’s not hitting the books. He’s also a huge Braves fan, taking any chance he can get to catch a game at Truist Park.

The legal profession runs in Carson’s family—his father is an attorney and his mother is a legal recruiter—so it’s no surprise that he’s had a passion for the law from a young age. What really drives him, though, is watching how the law continues to evolve with society. As he put it, “I hope that I can always be on the leading edge of the next era of law.”

We’re lucky to have Carson with us this summer, and we’re excited to see the impact he’ll make while he’s here!
