Our client was traveling east on Cumming Highway near the I-575 northbound on-ramp in Cherokee County, Georgia, when another driver ran a red light and struck the passenger side of his vehicle. CCTV footage later confirmed that the at-fault driver failed to stop at the red light.
Following the collision, our client experienced head pain and pain throughout the right side of his body. His wife drove him to Northside Hospital Cherokee, where imaging revealed a right-sided rib fracture and an adrenal gland hematoma. Due to the severity of his injuries and ongoing blood pressure concerns, he was transferred for additional treatment and remained hospitalized for three days.
After his discharge, our client continued to experience pain in his back, ribs, and left arm, along with headaches, dizziness, nausea, balance problems, and other post-concussion symptoms. He sought treatment from multiple specialists, including orthopedic, neurological, cardiovascular, ENT, and physical therapy providers.
Further evaluation revealed injuries to his left elbow, including tendinitis and microtearing. He was also diagnosed with vestibular dysfunction and considered a high fall risk, requiring vestibular therapy. In addition, he experienced ongoing inner ear symptoms, including ringing, pressure, muffled hearing, and hearing loss.
Despite extensive treatment, our client continued to experience symptoms that affected his daily life and ability to function normally.
