Born and raised in Huntington, West Virginia, Karen has been proud to call Atlanta home since 1985. After receiving a B.A. from Emory University and M.A from American University both in Political Science and then a Paralegal Certificate from the National Center for Paralegal Training, Karen went on to work for firms such as King & Spalding and Coca-Cola as well as the Georgia Senate Research Office, to name a few. Her innate compassion for people and big heart have undoubtedly helped her build strong, successful relationships with the clients whom she has had the pleasure to serve over the past 20+ years. Like many of her colleagues at The Champion Firm, helping others in need is simply in her DNA.
Relentless in her pursuit of the perfect client experience, she takes great pride in helping people make their way through every step of the personal injury case process with confidence. When she’s not working hard to fight for the best outcome for her clients, you can often find her at home binge-watching CNN, Netflix, HGTV or surfing social media. She loves traveling, reading, blogging, decorating her home, living the empty-nester lifestyle with her husband, and enjoying precious quality time with her family.
