An Atlanta native, Emily Truax handles marketing and public relations for The Champion Firm. She is responsible for all external communication and graphic design as well as community relationships, philanthropy, and nonprofit partnerships.
Emily has over ten years of experience in marketing, social media and graphic design including as the Director of Marketing for Chateau Elan Winery & Resort in Braselton, GA and the Marketing Manager for a media group in Athens, GA.
Emily graduated magna cum laude from Bryan College with a B.A. in Mass Communications and Journalism. She was Ronald Reagan Presidential Scholar two years in a row and received the Presidential Service Award for 250+ hours of community volunteerism. In addition, she is a published photographer.
“One of my favorite things about working at The Champion Firm is that everyone here truly cares about making a difference – in our client’s daily lives through offering exceptional legal services – but also in our local community,” said Emily. “Being able to partner with local nonprofits doing amazing work, sponsor students in their educational goals or give back by showing up when there is a need is incredibly fulfilling.”
No stranger to the legal field, as a middle-schooler, Emily was the lead plaintiff witness in a successful United States Supreme Court case. She currently lives on Lake Lanier in Buford, GA with her husband of 12 years, their three-year-old son and two rescue dogs. When she isn’t working, you can find her boating, working out, volunteering at her local church or enjoying the outdoors.
